A car that is more than 50 years old is just the beginning of what a woman in rural Ontario, Ontario, can expect to find in her lifetime.
The Canadian Tire Canada Vintage Car Show in Brampton, Ontario is one of many shows held in Canada and across the United States, where vintage car enthusiasts from all walks of life converge to get to know each other.
“I love the history of cars, I love the people who are involved in that,” said Anna Dolan.
Her daughter was one of the first people in Ontario to take her in and it was a special day for her to see the cars she had been dreaming of for so long.
Anna said it was important for her daughter to know the history behind the cars.
“My daughter loves to go out and see cars,” she said.
“She loves to see old cars.
It was a real special day.”
Dolan said it is so important for the children and grandchildren of the old owners to see a vehicle in the same condition it was when it was made.
Dolan is so excited to see what her daughter’s grandkids will have in their future.
I was so excited for her and I was really excited to know that my granddaughter is going to be the one who sees it and to know what kind of car it is.
“A lot of people in this country, they just love to look at cars, but they don’t know what the history is behind them, she said, adding the cars have been around for decades.
There are so many cars out there that have been in our history that we really miss, Anna said.
