A woman who was left stunned after being attacked by thieves in a beauty care home has described how she felt like she was “stunted”.
The woman, who wished to remain anonymous, was attacked by three men after leaving her salon, where she worked, on Monday night.
The incident happened just before 7pm at the Shoppers Club at The Shoppes at The Village on New South Wales’ Sunshine Coast.
The woman, whose identity has not been released, said the three men had taken her beauty product from her desk.
“They just came at me, and I didn’t know what was happening,” she said.
After the incident, the woman went to her home, where her boyfriend tried to call her, but the call was cut off.
She said she was then approached by two of the men, one holding a knife.
One of the suspects fled the scene, while the other was caught nearby.
A spokesperson for the police said the suspect in the attack had been arrested and taken to hospital for treatment.
Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
In a statement to ABC News, the Shoppers Club said it would not tolerate any behaviour of that nature.
Beauty care modules can be purchased online, at local pharmacies, or at local beauty shops.
It has been more than 30 years since Shoppers’ Club was closed, and has since become a major shopping destination.
Shoppers’ Clubs across the country have since come under scrutiny for poor security measures.
