Deep beauty care products that promise to heal the skin, hair, nails, and skin imperfections are getting new attention from the likes of Benefit, MAC, and Urban Decay.
The brands are using the awards to highlight their products for treating acne, skincare, and acne scarring.
Urban Decay’s SkinTac® acne products are among the most well-regarded and well-reviewed products from the brands, winning best cosmetic winner at the 2018 Oscars.
As a result, many consumers have turned to them to manage their acne, which has caused a spike in sales.
While some of the newer brands like MAC, Urban Cosmetics, and Benefit have embraced the technology of facial skincares, others have opted for more natural solutions like natural oils.
In 2017, the company released its first-ever facial moisturizer called Bumblebee, which is marketed to women of all skin types.
Bumby is currently available in select beauty retailers, but the new Beauty Products of the Year Awards will be released at an event in January.
The first Beauty Products Awards were held in February and the first three winners were MAC, Urban Decay, and Clinique.
MAC won Best Beauty Product for its Bump On Skin Care Gel.
“We believe that the beauty industry is ripe for a new wave of innovation,” MAC’s CEO Lili Elbe said in a statement.
“This year, I believe that we have an incredibly talented team, and I want to take the first step in making that happen.”
Urban Beauty’s Natural Toner is the winner of the best beauty product award.
For the second time, Urban Beauty won Best Beauty Beauty Product of the year.
This time, the brand is working on an all-natural facial cream, which will be unveiled later this month.
Facial scrubs and lotions will also be the top winners.
Alicia Keys, CEO of Urban Decay’s Beauty, Solutions, and Cosmetic division, said that the new awards will be the most comprehensive collection of beauty products from all the brands.
Key said that Urban Decay has been focused on finding new ways to innovate and that they are also taking advantage of the beauty industry’s shift towards a more natural approach to products.
Keys also said that it is important for beauty consumers to take time to use the products they are choosing and for companies to take a more hands-on approach with their products.
“I think people are more excited about beauty products because we have a brand, we have brands that have been making great products, and we are not afraid to try something new,” Keys said.
